Director of Christian Education Intern
My name is Caleb James Haack and I am 23 years old, from Omaha, Nebraska, where I’ve lived since I was four. I was born in Minnesota to Jim and Kelly Haack, and I have a younger brother named Christian.
I enjoy a variety of activities, including watching football and baseball (Go Vikings and Cubs!), reading and writing, being active outside, playing guitar and piano, and watching movies and playing video games (Star Wars is my favorite). I always knew growing up that I wanted to be involved in ministry in some capacity, and I was involved in many church programs and mission trips, which included travelling to Hong Kong three separate times to assist with VBS in Lutheran schools.
In addition to my travels abroad, I also spent two summers working at Camp Omega on Horseshoe Lake, Waterville, Minnesota, teaching children about Jesus and having a blast in God's creation. I was also involved in a praise band, intramural sports, improv club, and various theatre productions.
In May of 2017 I graduated from Concordia University, Nebraska, with majors in DCE/CEL and Theology and a minor and emphasis in Worship Arts.
I look forward to learning and serving Hope as your DCE intern!
