JACK GEBHARDT
Born and raised in Astoria, Queens, New York. Jack was baptized and confirmed in the LCMS Lutheran church in Queens, NY. He served as an acolyte for the better part of five years until the family moved to Connecticut
For 9 years, served a dual role as an elder and congregational president. During his tenure there, he coordinated a team for the celebration of the church’s 100th anniversary.
Jack and his wife Pat moved to Florida in 2010. He served as a communion assistant and was the director of Stewardship for eight years. Other duties involved being a part of the pastoral ministry and visiting shut-ins.
As with Pastor Jim, he served in building a church plant as one of his elders and participated in the planning of its development.
Presently, Jack serves in a dual role - as an elder here at Hope and teaching Bible class at Trinity Lutheran in Fort Pierce. FL.
